Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 3-9, 2021) is a time to become more aware of the realities of mental illness, and educate yourself and others about the importance of mental health.We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – there is no health without mental health.

While we teach largely about physical safety, mental wellness is just as important. Part of that is checking in with yourself, having unlimited access to resources, and de-stigmatizing what it means to be mentally ill.

In keeping with the efforts of the week, World Mental Health Day falls on October 5, 2021. On this day we continue to show support for those seeking mental health resources, and to raise awareness about how your mental health affects your overall health, and life.
