World Youth Skills Day 2020
Celebrate youth and their special skills this year on July 15! “The aim of WYSD is to recognize the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship, and to highlight the crucial role of skilled youth in addressing current and future global challenges.”
The world is in the hands of our youth and they will be the people to make it a better place in the very near future. WYSD is a great time to encourage youth to educate themselves and think about what skills they need to face the future head on. Equipping them with knowledge and tools to move forward while gainfully employed is essential to our world’s economy and future success.
Due to challenges faced this year with COVID-19, many technical and vocational training methods were closed. UNESCO is offering a virtual conference on Skills for a Resilient Youth in July. Click Here to Register.
You can support WYSD by sharing photos of educational or skill development on social media.
